A results-oriented professional, Jacob excels at human and systems management, guiding multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute cutting-edge digital publishing, multimedia production, and live-streaming projects. He is passionate about capacity development and continuous learning, and he delights in crafting bespoke solution packages for both individual creators and corporate partners.

Dr. Bassey Ekpenyong Esq. brings to IbSpotlight Media Services an unparalleled blend of academic rigor, legislative experience, and editorial leadership as our editor in chief. Holding a Ph.D. in English Stylistics from the University of Calabar where he serves as an Associate Professor Dr. Ekpenyong applies his mastery of language and narrative structure to ensure every story we publish meets the highest standards of clarity, depth, and engagement.

Before joining our team, Dr. Ekpenyong distinguished himself in public service as a Senior Legislative Official with the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently as Special Adviser on Research and Strategy to the Governor of Cross River State. This background in policy analysis, strategic communication, and stakeholder engagement informs his nuanced approach to public affairs and policy coverage.

Ekene D. Onoh serves as the Senior Systems Administrator for IbSpotlight Media Services and its sister organization, HRS Academy, where he is the driving force behind the seamless operation of all technical infrastructure.

In this role, Ekene ensures that every device, network, and application functions at peak performance by personally repairing and optimizing over 50 tablets, laptops, and desktops, configuring and maintaining printers and classroom camera systems, and implementing robust antivirus, firewall, and access-control measures across routers, switches, and wireless access points.

A Bowie State University Honors Program graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science, Ekene contributed to the development of the campus Shuttle App serving over 6,000 users and has honed his skills through competitive events such as the NCAE Cyber Games, NCCDC Hivestorm, and the National Cyber League.
