The Board of Trustees, BoT, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has dismissed the judgment of the Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan on the party?s November 2025 national convention as “academic and of no practical effect”.
However, another faction of the party commended the judiciary for rising to its “constitutional responsibility as an impartial arbiter in political and constitutional disputes”.
Both reactions were contained in statements released on Friday.
The PDP BoT statement was signed by its Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, while the other was by Jungude Mohammed, National Publicity Secretary of the PDP National Caretaker Working Committee.
