Someone I called a friend sabotaged me ? Donna Adja

By Ayo Onikoyi

Singer Donna Adja, popularly known for her song No Forks, has revealed that she was betrayed by someone she once considered a close friend, an experience she says cost her a major opportunity.

The singer made this known in an emotional video recently shared on her Instagram page, where she spoke candidly about a painful incident that occurred last year and continues to affect her.

?Something happened last year that made me cry, and I still feel like crying. It is what it is,? Donna said. ?Someone I called a friend, someone I think I have helped in the past, went to sabotage me and took away a good deal from me. And it?s so sad.?

Despite the emotional weight of the experience, the singer said she chose to maintain composure rather than publicly display her pain.

?You know I am putting on a smile because I don?t like to be dramatic, so I don?t want to cry. I am not going to let this person see my tears because they know who they are,? she added.
Beyond sharing her personal experience, Donna used the moment to issue a broader message about trust, gossip, and discernment in relationships. She cautioned people against forming opinions based solely on what others say.
?When people come to talk to you about other people, dude, don?t just jump and start hating this other person because of what this person came to tell you,? she advised. ?You don?t know why they are saying what they are saying.?
While the singer did not disclose the identity of the individual involved or the nature of the deal she lost, her revelation has sparked conversations online about betrayal, envy, and silent sabotage within personal and professional circles.
